This has a low water absorbency, which is just what you need. It absorbs less than one percent of water, which means that the risk of algae growing is low. There is also minimal risk of water staining.

Another pool coping choice that we would recommend is the Premiastone Platinum. This is designed from sawn natural sandstone from India and every piece is distinctive. It has a smooth texture and a contemporary style that will make your pool pop. The colors are natural and boast dove grey and occasional buff. We can’t think of a better combination for a modern poolside area. This material has a low absorption rate at 1.6 percent. This means that it is like to absorb any water, which means you do not have to worry about algae growth or water staining. This is a lot better than other materials, such as concrete.

For a modern style, you can choose the Premiastone Ivory pool coping. This is constructed from natural sandstone from India. It is hardwearing and has a low slip risk. This makes it great for a family home. It absorbs less than 3.8 percent of water, which means there is a very low risk of algae growth and water staining. The Classicstone Promenade is also an attractive addition to any home, with its delicate shades of dove grey and occasional buff. Since it is natural stone, you can expect every section to be different and individual. It is up to 10 times strong than concrete and the risk of slipping is low. We also like how it has allow water absorbency. It is known that algae grows with moisture. But since this step coping is made from natural stone than absorbs less than one percent of water, this should not be a problem. You also do not have to think about water staining, as the stone hardly absorbs any liquids.
